PAOLI, Pa. (Sept 4, 2019) – In this episode of ExtremeTerrain’s (XT) Jeep News, host Merideth Evasew provides the inside scoop on two new trim levels available in the 2020 JL Wrangler: Black & Tan and Willys.
Paying homage to the original World War II Jeep, the Willys offers several off-road-focused options available on the Rubicon without the premium-trim price. The Black & Tan JL features cosmetic-based improvements including tan soft top and blacked-out trim.
“I am really excited to see Jeep evolving with their new powertrain line up. The 3.0L EcoDiesel is what we have all been waiting for, and I can’t wait to see how much of a work horse this is out on the trails! Not to mention Jeep adapting to today’s hybrid world offering the eTorque system on a couple different platforms instead of limiting it to one is really cool to see.”—Merideth Evasew
Also included in this episode, Merideth discusses powertrain updates for the 2020 JL Wrangler including availability, details, and specifications for the new and highly anticipated 3.0L EcoDiesel and eTorque variants.
